More Great Photos as the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) British Aerospace (BAe) Hawk 127 Jets Continue Flying Sorties out of Rockhampton Airport

As mentioned, local plane spotter Daniel B was on hand on Friday 19 July and also captured some more great photos as the visiting Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) British Aerospace (BAe) Hawk 127 jet training aircraft took to the air completing more sorties out of Rockhampton Airport to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.

During the morning, A27-13 and A27-18 were photographed departing Rockhampton Airport for Shoalwater Bay as "Cougar".

They returned a couple of hours later, completing a spectacular initial and pitch before landing in Runway 15.

Another pair (possibly the same pair) of Hawks completed another sortie to Shoalwater Bay and back to Rockhampton Airport later in the afternoon.

As mentioned previously, the three Hawks visiting Rockhampton Airport are flown by No. 76 Flight Training Squadron, part of No. 78 Wing, out of RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales.

Sincere thanks again to local plane spotter Daniel B for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!
