A surprise but most welcome visitor into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport on Wednesday 18 September was Air Affairs Australia / Gojet Gates LearJet 35A bizjet VH-LJJ.
The LearJet was using its bushfire reconnaissance radio callsign of "Firescan 123" and looked to fly up from and then return to its 'usual' base at HMAS Albatross at Nowra in New South Wales.
