It appears that the sleek Citation arrived direct from its Adelaide base.
At the time of writing, it appears that VH-IYG remains parked at Longreach Airport.
Meanwhile, on Saturday 21 September, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted also visiting Longreach Airport. It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to Brisbane.
Finally, last week, on Monday 16 September, a pair of Pilatus PC-12 corporate turboprop aircraft were noted visiting Longreach Airport. Lucas Aviation / Platinum Aircraft Charter (of South Australia) PC-12/45 VH-VAT arrived from Adelaide via Aramac before later departing back to Adelaide. While Pegasus Air PC-12/47E VH-STE arrived from Gibb River via Jabiru and Cloncurry. It departed to Birdsville and Broken Hill on Tuesday 17 September.
