Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP Bizjet VH-SGY Calls into Proserpine and Bundaberg Airports - Plus More!

Early on Tuesday 15 September, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted arriving into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Brisbane.

After spending much of the day on the ground, VH-SGY then departed Prosie for Bundaberg Airport where it appears to be spending the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 September, VH-SGY departed Bundaberg Airport for Brisbane - see Blog post above for photos!

Meanwhile, also in the Whitsundays, but on Monday 14 September, the often visiting American-registered Eclipse EA500 bizjet N257AK was noted arriving back into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 17 September, N257AK returned to Archerfield.

Also on Tuesday 15 September, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from its Sunshine Coast base.  It then departed to Roma Airport before later returning to Rocky and the Sunny Coast.

And Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE was spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport also on Tuesday 15 September.  It arrived from Toowoomba-Wellcamp having earlier flown down there from Cairns.  


VH-RUE was then photographed as it departed Rockhampton Airport for Kowanyama and Cairns.

While Commander 114B VH-OFN also arrived into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast before it later departed to Gladstone Airport and Redcliffe.

And after arriving the previous day from Toowoomba and Maryborough Airport, Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for Toowoomba also on Tuesday 15 September.

Elsewhere, also on Tuesday 15 September, FKG Air (Redjet Aviation) Hawker Beechcraft B200GT VH-FKB was noted visiting Charters Towers Aerodrome from its Toowoomba base.  It also called into Charters Towers Aerodrome last Friday 11 September and then Bundaberg Airport twice on Monday 14 September while flying between Toowoomba and Townsville.

UPDATE!  On Friday 18 September, VH-FKB looked to visit Gladstone Airport from its Toowoomba base.

Finally, also on Tuesday 15 September, Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company Agusta A119 'Koala' helicopter VH-KOL looked to fly up to Hamilton Island Airport from the Gold Coast via Gladstone and Mackay Airports.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 September, VH-KOL departed Hamilton Island Airport for Mackay and Gladstone Airports before it then returned to Mackay Airport for the night.
