Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP Bizjet VH-SGY Calls into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Thursday 24 September, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted visiting Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to bring Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to town for a series of engagements.

With these complete, VH-SGY then departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Brisbane.

Also on Thursday 24 September, locally-based Greensill Aviation Cessna 550 Citation Bravo bizjet VH-CCJ was noted departing Bundaberg Airport for Mackay Airport.  After a short time on the ground, it returned to Bundy.

Meanwhile, after arriving back into Hamilton Island Airport the previous day, also on Thursday 24 September, the visiting Mineralogy Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express XRS bizjet VH-UPH was noted departing Hamo for Townsville before returning a little while later.

While also noted in and out of Hamilton Island Airport, also on Thursday 24 September were Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD which departed to its Monto Airport base.  It looked to have arrived on Hamo from there last Wednesday 16 September.

While also on Thursday 24 September, Raytheon 58 Baron VH-EZR arrived from and later departed back to its Chinchilla base.  VH-EZR also called into the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour via Emerald Airport but on Wednesday 23 September.

Finally, after arriving the previous day, also on Thursday 24 September, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN was noted departing the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site for Toowoomba-Wellcamp.  It then completed a return flight to Injune Airport before flying up again from Wellcamp but to Hamilton Island Airport where it appears to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Friday 25 September, VH-WXN departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Wellcamp.
