A Few Nice Corporate Bizjets Around CQ Airports Again Today - Perhaps with State Borders Re-opening?

On Tuesday 14 December, there were quite a few nice corporate bizjets and other General Aviation (GA) aircraft noted flying around Central Queensland Airports - perhaps some were transporting passengers around (avoiding crowded Regular Passenger Transport [RPT] flights) after the State borders re-opened?

Vanguard Aviation Cessna 525 CitationJet1 bizjet VH-DAA made an early morning arrival into Bundaberg Airport from the Sunshine Coast before then departing to Cairns.

Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY visited Rockhampton Airport from its Archerfield base.

MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC landed at Theodore Airport from then Sunshine Coast.  It later then continued up to Emerald Airport where it appears to be staying.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 16 December, VH-MMC departed Emerald Airport and returning to the Sunshine Coast.

Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY looked to arrive into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.  It later departed up to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 15 December, VH-SIY departed Proserpine Airport and returned to Brisbane and then the Sunshine Coast.

Fellow McDermott Aviation Group / Machjet International Beech B200 King Air VH-MWZ looked to arrive into Rockhampton Airport from the Sunshine Coast before then flying out to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  VH-MWZ then returned to the Sunshine Coast.

Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY called into both Mackay and Roma Airports during a busy day of flying out of and back to its Melbourne (Moorabbin) base.

And Execujet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-VSZ flew up to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport from Brisbane before then later flying down to Melbourne (Essendon).

Finally, a couple of other notable GA movements included Brisbane-based FIFO Jet P/L Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ flying to Roma and Blackall Airports from and back to Archerfield.

And Ipswich-based Airborne P/L (Palm Lake Works) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE continued visiting remote properties in the region with it looking like it will return to the Gold Coast early on Wednesday 15 December.

Nice!
