Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) Aircraft A30-004 Missed Approach at Mackay Airport - Nice!

It was a terrific day for military aircraft spotters on Thursday 20 March, with Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004, performing a spectacular missed approach at Mackay Airport.

Unfortunately under grey skies, the Wedgetail was captured on final approach and then in the missed approach on Runway 14.

A30-004 was using the radio callsign of "Wedgetail 10".

Thanks to 'AC' at Mackay for capturing and sending through these great photos of a rare visitor to Mackay.
