Another interesting arrival into Rockhampton Airport on Monday 20 August was Virgin Australia - Skywest Airlines-operated - ATR 72-600 VH-FVP.
The bigger ATR aircraft has recently arrived in Australia, and had just completed a ferry flight from Perth. VH-FVP arrived from Brisbane during the afternoon, and later departed to Hervey Bay. From Hervey Bay, VH-FVP returned to Rockhampton and then departed back to Brisbane.
This is perhaps a sign of things to come! And hopefully there are more training flights for VH-FVP to come!
