Fugro LADS / Royal Australia Navy (RAN) Hydrography Dash-8-200 VH-LCL Also Departs Mackay Airport

After touched down the previous day, Fugro LADS Corporation / Surveillance Australia / Royal Australian Navy (RAN) LADS Hydrography Institute Dash-8-200 VH-LCL departed Mackay Airport on Friday 20 March.

It had reportedly positioned South from its Cairns base to escape the predicted heavy weather associated with Tropical Cyclone Nathan.

On Friday, it returned back to Cairns.  It was heard to use its usual radio callsign of "Navy Survey".
