Possibly a REX Charter Flight from Longreach Airport Saturday - Plus a JetGo Visit Last Month

An interesting movement on Saturday 14 March with Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLH flying from Longreach Airport to Brisbane as RXA9913.

Of interest, VH-ZLH was scheduled to fly from Boulia to Windorah last weekend as RXA9933 suggesting it may be on a closed charter flight.

Can anyone confirm?

Meanwhile, a couple of interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft were also noted passing through Longreach on Saturday 14 March including Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Cessna TU206G VH-MGT which flew in from Bourke and Charleville.  It departed further North to Hughenden and Mareeba where there is a MAF maintenance base.

Heading North and then South through Longreach Airport over a couple of days were both Air Link Piper PA-31-350 VH-MZF and Camden-based Hawker Beechcraft G36 VH-MMR.

VH-MZF flew in from Bourke on Friday 13 March before departing to Boulia.  It returned on Saturday 14 March, departing back to Bourke and further, while VH-MMR flew North to Cairns the previous Saturday 7 March, returning South to Walgett and Camden on Saturday 14 March.

Finally, Dubbo-based Cirrus SR20 VH-ZCD passed through Longreach from Emerald and on to Mount Isa and Tennant Creek on Friday 13 March.

Of interest, another intriguing arrival into Longreach - but last month - was JetGo Australia Embraer E-135LR jet VH-JGB which called in briefly on Tuesday 17 February from Osborne Mine as JG26.  VH-JGB then continued to Brisbane.
