During the busy afternoon and evening on Friday 13 March, local plane spotter 'IAD' also spotted Surveillance Australia / Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (Cobham Aviation) Dash-8-202 VH-ZZC at Rockhampton Airport.
It arrived from parts unknown after completing another sortie as "Customs 33".
Meanwhile, earlier on Friday 13 March, a couple of light General Aviation (GA) aircraft were noted calling into Rocky including Toowoomba-based Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID, which visited the beef capital for the day. It was also noted at Roma on Thursday 12 March.
Also at Rocky on Friday, Jedda Lin Hawker Beechcraft G36 Bonanza VH-JKL arrived from Bankstown and looked to be staying - UPDATE! - VH-JKL returned to Bankstown from Rocky on Sunday 15 March. While Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD called into Rockhampton briefly from Monto before departing to Hamilton Island.
