Spotters got a surprise early on Sunday 24 May, when Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-206 called into Rockhampton Airport from RAAF Base Amberley.
After being loaded with passengers and some cargo, A41-206 departed Rocky for Townsville as "Stallion 45".
It was certainly a great sight to see the Globemaster take off in such a short distance down Rocky's Runway 15!
