Beech 36 Bonanza VH-TYZ Makes Wheels-up Landing at Bundaberg Airport

Three occupants managed to escape shaken but unharmed after their light plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Bundaberg Airport on Thursday 7 May.

Locally-based Beech 36 Bonanza VH-TYZ was completing a flight from Gladstone back to Bundaberg when it reportedly experienced electrical trouble.

It appears that the aircraft's landing gear could not be extended and the Bonanza was forced to make a belly landing at Bundaberg Airport.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) will investigate.
