For the second day in a row, one of the four Bond Helicopters Sikorsky S-92A helicopters that have been stored at Caloundra Airport on the Sunshine Coast has passed through Longreach Airport while on the return journey to Western Australia.

On Thursday 5 May, VH-NYZ was noted departing the Sunshine Coast for Longreach Airport and then Mount Isa.

As mentioned below, fellow Bond Helicopters S-92A VH-NYW departed the Sunshine Coast for Mount Isa via Longreach Airport on Wednesday and on Thursday 5 May, it was noted continuing further to Truscott in Western Australia from Mount Isa via Tennant Creek and Kununurra.

Two of the big Sikorsky helicopters now remain at Caloundra with VH-NWV and VH-NWD expected to ferry out in the coming days.
