Pel Air / Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRB at Rockhampton Airport Saturday

Another interesting sports charter flight to call into CQ with Pel Air / Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZRB flying from Rockhampton Airport to Townsville and back on Saturday 14 May.  It initially positioned to Rocky from Brisbane as PFY9880 and then departed to Townsville as PFY9314.

It was believed to have transported players and officials of the locally-based Central (CQ) Capras Rugby League Club North to take on the Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Rugby League's Intrust Super Cup.

Sadly, it was probably a sombre flight home to Rockhampton for the Capras as they were beaten soundly by the Blackhawks in their game today!

From Townsville to Rocky VH-ZRB flew as PFY9313 before it returned to Brisbane empty as PFY9881.
