PNG Registered Police Coloured Bell 212 Helicopter P2-HFJ at Emerald and Whitsunday Airports

Certainly a lovely sight and sound noted in the skies of CQ on Wednesday 4 May was Papua New Guinea (PNG) registered Bell 212 helicopters P2-HFJ.

As shown above, the big Bell passed through the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour after earlier departing Emerald Airport where it looked to arrive late on Tuesday 3 May.

From Shute Harbour, P2-HFJ continued further North to Townsville and Cairns and possibly ports further North.  It is reportedly on delivery to PNG and has recently been registered to Helifix Operations (PNG).
