Deer Jet (China) Boeing B737-7AK(BBJ) B-5266 Departs Hamilton Island Airport - And LearJet 31ER VH-OVX Visits Again!

After arriving the previous day from Sydney, the visiting Deer Jet (of China) Boeing B737-7AK(BBJ) B-5266 departed Hamilton Island Airport for Cairns on Friday 6 May.

After a short time on the ground it then departed to Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, making another visit to CQ - and its second visit to Hamo this week - was Shortstop Jet Charter Learjet 31ER bizjet VH-OVX which called in from Sydney on Friday 6 May.

As shown above, VH-OVX was at Gladstone earlier this week too and departed from the industrial city to Sydney on Thursday 5 May.

After a couple of hours on the ground, VH-OVX departed Hamilton Island Airport for its Melbourne (Essendon) base.

Finally, an interesting corporate turboprop in the form of Pegasus Air (of Kent Town, South Australia) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PIL also visited Hamilton Island Airport briefly on Friday 6 May.  It arrived from the Sunshine Coast and departed further North to Lizard Island.
