A nice early surprise on
Saturday 14 May with a pair of Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopters arriving into Rockhampton Airport from the North using the unique radio callsign of "Fatboy". They were identified as A15-304 and A15-307.
After taking on fuel - and lunch for the personnel - they both departed to RAAF Base Amberley flying via Gladstone.
Local plane spotter Trevor H captured this quick photo as they departed heading South.
