RAAF Challenger 604 Bizjet A37-002 Departs Emerald Airport for Gladstone Airport on Tuesday

After arriving late on Monday 23 May from Mackay Airport, the visiting Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-002 departed Emerald Airport early on Tuesday 24 May for Gladstone Airport.

It appears that the Federal Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen was visiting the region during the 8-week Federal Election campaign.

Engagements complete in the port city, A37-002 departed Gladstone Airport for Sydney.  For its flight, the challenger was again noted using the radio callsign of "Envoy 20".
