Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) (Cobham SAR Services Pty Ltd) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-XND Pops into Mackay Airport

Another bizjet visitor into Mackay Airport on Friday 6 October was Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) (Cobham SAR Services Pty Ltd) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-XND.

VH-XND originally departed its Cairns base and looked to complete airwork to the South-West of Cairns before it then flew South and landed at Mackay Airport.  After around an hour on the ground where it was refuelled, VH-XND returned to Cairns.

I believe this was a training flight as at no stage was VH-XND heard to use its "Rescue 660" callsign which it normally uses when completing search and rescue tasks.
