New Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Textron Aviation (Beech) B300C Super King Air VH-FDC "FlyDoc 480" Spotted at Rockhampton Airport

Earlier this week on Monday 1 January, local plane spotter 'IAD' was at the right place at the right time to capture our first photos of one of the four newest Textron Aviation (Beech) B300C Super King Air turboprops VH-FDC "FlyDoc 480".

VH-FDC is one of four new Textron Aviation (Beech) B300C Super King Air turboprops that the RFDS acquired in 2016 - along with VH-FDD, VH-FDF and VH-FDN.

VH-FDC was believed to have been delivered to the RFDS Base in Cairns in 2016 and flew to Brisbane in early April 2017 before it entered service in May 2017.  VH-FDC has since made several visits to various CQ Airports however it is the first time that a local plane spotter has managed to capture a photo!
