Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Pilatus Britten-Norman BN-2A Islander VH-PSX Calls into Rockhampton Airport

On Wednesday 11 April, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Pilatus Britten-Norman BN-2A Islander VH-PSX was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from its Cairns Airport base.

After spending the night, VH-PSX was noted departing to the Sunshine Coast early on Thursday 12 April.

Of interest, the Police Airwing has recently taken delivery of Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-PQX which seems to be also operating out of Cairns Airport.  It joins three other Cessna 208B Caravans - VH-PSQ, VH-PSV and VH-PSY - which appear to operate from Brisbane, Cairns and Mount Isa on various transport and other roles.
