Hevilift Australia ATR 72-500 VH-FVH Back at Charleville Airport - Plus Seair Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LYT Both on Lake Eyre Scenic Flights

On Sunday 5 May, Hevilift Australia (Fixed Wing Division) ATR 72-500 VH-FVH was back at Charleville Airport while returning to the South-East corner of the State at the completion of a closed charter flight out to Lake Eyre.

As it has done in previous weeks, VH-FVH had originally flown as HT705 early on Saturday 4 May from Brisbane to Birdsville and Coober Pedy in South Australia where it looked to spend the night.  On Sunday 5 May, VH-FVH then flew as HT706 from Coober Pedy to Charleville and back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 4 May, Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LYT was also noted passing through Charleville Airport while on what appeared to be a Lake Eyre scenic flight.  It arrived from its Gold Coast base and departed to Birdsville.

UPDATE!  On Monday 6 May, fellow Seair Pacific (Istlecote) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-OZH was also noted passing through Charleville Airport also on a Lake Eyre scenic flight.  It too flew in from its Gold Coast base and departed to Birdsville before continuing to Lake Eyre where it appears to be staying for the night.
