A Few Corporate and Other King Air Turboprops Around CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Thursday 10 February, there were several corporate and other King Air turboprops and other aircraft noted visiting various Central Queensland Airports.

Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY looked to depart Charters Towers Aerodrome for Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and then the Sunshine Coast.  It had arrived into the Towers from its Sunny Coast base the previous day.

Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO called into Moura Airport from Toowoomba.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN also called into Moura Airport but from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.  It had earlier also completed a run to Roma Airport and back to Wellcamp.

While sistership and fellow Brescon Beech B200 King Air VH-WXB also popped into Roma Airport, arriving from Wellcamp and departing to Moomba.  On returning to Wellcamp from Moomba, VH-WXB had an emergency landing with reportedly smoke or fumes in the aircraft.

FKG Air (Redjet Aviation) Hawker Beechcraft B200GT VH-FKB looked to depart Rockhampton Airport for Roma, Archerfield and Narromine Airports before heading to Toowoomba.  It had arrived at Rocky earlier in the week.

And SFC Farming Raytheon B200 King Air VH-TXT visited Bundaberg Airport twice during a busy day of flying between Mundine, Archerfield and Moree.

Meanwhile, also noted at Bundaberg Airport, also on Thursday 10 February, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY arrived from the Sunshine Coast and depart to Hamilton Island Airport.  It later returned to Bundy and the Sunny Coast.

While Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY visited Mackay Airport from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Melbourne (Essendon) Airports.

And locally-owned Aero Optics (General Aviation Maintenance operated) Aero Commander 500-S VH-JAJ looked to fly up from the Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton Airport.  It's been in the area since late last week.
