American-Registered Gulfstream Aerospace G-VI (G650) Bizjet N111UB Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 12 February, American registered (TVPX Aircraft Solutions Inc) Gulfstream Aerospace G-VI (G650) bizjet N111UB was spotted as it arrived into Hamilton Island Airport.

The smart looking Gulfstream looked to fly up from Melbourne (Essendon) Airport.

At the time of writing, it appears that N111UB is staying at Hamo for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Monday 14 February, N111UB departed Hamilton Island Airport for Cairns.

Also spotted at Hamilton Island Airport, also on Saturday 12 February, was fellow American-registered (but seemingly Australian-based) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet N510MW.  It had arrived on Tuesday 8 February from Longreach Airport - see Blog post below.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 13 February, N510MW departed Hamilton Island Airport for Charleville Airport and then its Melbourne (Essendon) base.

And MT Air Charters / Pilatus Australia Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-JMU was also spotted at Hamilton Island Airport, also on Saturday 12 February, after it completed a flight up to Cooktown and back.

As mentioned below, VH-JMU had arrived into Hamo from the Adelaide, Lake Macquarie and the Gold Coast the previous day.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 13 February, VH-JMU departed Hamilton Island Airport for the Gold Coast and Lake Macquarie.

Finally, also on Saturday 12 February, New South Wales-registered but seemingly locally based Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage VH-KNV departed its Rockhampton Airport base for the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and then Rolleston Aerodrome before then returning to Rocky.

It also appears that VH-KNV completed a flight to Emerald and Toowoomba Airports and back to Rockhampton Airport the previous day.

And Cairns-based Cessna 206 VH-SQX was noted passing through Townsville, Springsure and Emerald Airports while flying from and back to Innisfail.

Sincere thanks to the visiting plane spotters for sharing these great photos from Hamilton Island!
