Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 Bizjet VH-SIY Calls into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More Over the Weekend!

On Sunday 6 November, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY called into Hamilton Island Airport.  It arrived from Machjet's new base at Archerfield before later departing to the Sunshine Coast.

Another bizjet in the region was Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ which flew up from Archerfield to Natal Down via Dalby before later flying down to my local Clermont Aerodrome.  It then flew back down to Dalby and Archerfield.

Meanwhile, also at my local Clermont Aerodrome, also on Sunday 6 November, M. D. H. P/L (Cloncurry) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-MDH departed to Devoncourt Station.  It had arrived on Monday 31 October.

Plus, Cessna 210 VH-FGY visited briefly from its Moree base.

While down the road at Emerald Airport, several lighties to visit included Outline Global P/L (Western Australia) Cessna 182Q which flew down from Georgetown before continuing to Caloundra and Camden.  It appears to have flown North from Camden at the end of last week.

Tamworth-based Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-NRJ landed at Emerald Airport from Tamworth and Armidale before it then departed to Charters Towers Aerodrome. 

Mooney M20J VH-KDC flew across from Winton to Emerald Airport and then to the Sunshine Coast.  It looked to fly up from the Sunny Coast and visit Longreach, Barcaldine, Blackall and Winton Airports over the last week.

Sydney-based JJ Air Textron (Cessna) 208 Amphibious Caravan VH-JLK looked to arrive from Moree before later departing North - possibly to Cairns.

Central Highlands Aerial Services (CHAS) Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LMZ also flew back from Moree to Emerald Airport having flown down the previous day.

And American Registered but Australian based Pilatus PC-12/47E N81DW arrived into Emerald Airport from Adelaide.  It is due to make an early departure to Mackay Airport on Monday 7 November.

Finally, on Saturday 5 November, no less than four AAA Aircraft / Flight Options Flight Academy Cessna 172s VH-AQR, VH-CPN VH-ZOB and VH-KTR all flew up from the Sunshine Coast to Gladstone Airport, with VH-CPN and VH-KTR arriving via a stop at Rockhampton Airport.  All four then returned to the Sunny Coast.

And LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" made a pre-dawn visit to Mackay Airport, arriving from Brisbane and later departing to Townsville.  It had earlier flown down from Townsville and Cairns to Brisbane.
