LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" Calls into Mackay Airport Twice! - Plus More!

On Saturday 4 March, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" was noted visiting Mackay Airport twice during a busy afternoon and evening of flying.

It flew down from Townsville and Cairns to Mackay Airport before departing to Brisbane.  VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" later returned to Mackay Airport before returning to back to Townsville.

As mentioned below, VH-OFB returned from overseas at the start of the year and has been spotted at various places now wearing the revised LifeFlight livery as was first shown by sistership VH-OFA.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 4 March, Bowenville (near Toowoomba) based Cessna 525 CitationJet CJ1+ bizjet VH-JSZ was noted calling into Bundaberg Airport, arriving from Archerfield and Brisbane before later departing back to Archerfield and then Dalby and Goondiwindi.
