A Couple of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft Complete Airwork at CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Monday 14 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-211 was noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.

It was heard to be flying as "Stallion 51" and came up from RAAF Base Amberley to complete the airwork at Rockhampton Airport. The Globemaster then returned to Amberley.

While RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-003 as "Wedgetail 01" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Coffs Harbour and then also at Rockhampton Airport before then returning to back to Williamtown.

And RAAF Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft A97-442 as "Aussie 698" flew down from Townsville to complete a touch-and-go approach at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport before then flying down to RAAF Base Edinburgh in South Australia.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 14 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-002 as "Envoy 55" flew up from Canberra to Mackay Airport before then flying down to Brisbane. It then flew back North to Cairns but as "Envoy 90".
