Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NKU Pops into Barcaldine Airport for QRL Intrust Super Cup Game

An interesting arrival into the normally pretty quiet Barcaldine Airport on Saturday 7 July with Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-NKQ touching down from Brisbane as UTY3380.

The Alliance Fokker brought the Souths-Logan Magpies Rugby League team players and support staff to town to take on the Rockhampton-based Central Queensland (CQ) Capras in the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) Intrust Super Cup competition.

With the game complete, VH-NKQ then returned to Brisbane after dark as UTY3381.  And it would have been a quiet trip back to Brisbane with the Magpies suffering an upset loss at the hands of the Capras!
