Making a surprise but most welcome lunch-time visit to Gladstone Airport on Thursday 10 March was Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI.
It arrived from Brisbane and departed back there after a couple of hours on the ground. I presume the Careflight LearJet operated a medical evacuation (med-evac) flight from the port city. It was heard to be using its usual radio callsign of "Ambulance 451".
VH-VVI is pictured above during a previous visit to Gladstone Airport in early 2015 when it still wore its distinctive silver colour scheme - a livery I still quite like!
