Making a surprise but most welcome arrival into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport late on Saturday 19 March was this smart little American-registered Eclipse EA500 bizjet N570RG.

It flew from Bali (Denpasar), Broome and Tennant Creek and was reportedly bound for Hamilton Island however accommodation was not available.

It is also reported that the privately owned and operated bizjet is on its way to New Zealand to attend the Warbirds Over Wanaka International Airshow 2016.

At the time of writing, it remains parked at Prosie.
