On Wednesday 14 March, LifeFlight (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452" was spotted on the ground at Rockhampton Airport. It had earlier arrived into the beef capital from its Townsville base.
After the sun went down, VH-CXJ departed Rockhampton Airport and looked to complete a medical evacuation flight to Brisbane.
UPDATE! Soon after this post was written late on Wednesday 14 March, VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452" then returned to CQ almost immediately, calling into Gladstone Airport from Brisbane. It then departed to Townsville where it touched down shortly after midnight on Thursday 15 March.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday 13 March, VH-CXJ looked to complete a training flight from its Townsville base to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and back.
Finally, sister-ship and fellow LifeFlight LearJet 45 bizjet VH-VVI was noted completing what appeared to be a training flight from its Brisbane base to Bundaberg Airport and back also on Wednesday 14 March. As mentioned below, it completed a similar training flight into Gladstone Airport from and back to Brisbane on Monday 12 March.
