Another Day Another RAAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster Completes a Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport - A41-211 "Stallion 22"

The fantastic week of military aircraft spotting in Central Queensland continued on Friday 2 March as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-211 was spotted overflying and then completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.

Local plane spotters Kayanne H and Daniel B were at the right places at the right time as the mighty Globemaster transport aircraft flew North from RAAF Base Amberley before completing its airwork at Rocky.

Afterwards, A41-211, which was heard to be flying as "Stallion 22", departed back to Amberley.

Sincere thanks to Kayanne and Daniel for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos!  What a great week its been!
