There is a build up of military personnel and equipment around Rockhampton at the moment with an exercise within the nearby Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) set to start in the coming days. And on
Saturday 12 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft A97-465 was spotted arriving into Rockhampton Airport from RAAF Base Richmond as "Trojan 20".
After parking on the Northern military hardstand, personnel and equipment were unloaded from the Herc.
A97-465 then departed Rockhampton Airport and returned to Richmond.
