A Few More Corporate Aircraft Come and Go at Hamilton Island Airport

Still quite busy at Hamilton Island Airport with a couple more corporate aircraft coming and going over the last couple of days.

A couple of departures on Thursday 3 January with Shortstop Jet Charter Dassault Falcon 900C bizjet VH-OAA heading to Ayers Rock after arriving on New Years Day.

While Corporate Aviation Bell 429 Global Ranger helicopter VH-EQP departed home to its Southport base via Gladstone Airport after arriving a week ago last Thursday 27 December.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 3 January,  Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport.  It arrived direct from its Melbourne (Moorabbin) base before departing to Yarrawonga and Melbourne (Essendon).  It then returned to Moorabbin.

And an interesting light General Aviation (GA) visitor at Hamo also on Thursday 3 January was Black Diamond Aviation (of Nhulunbuy in the Northern Territory) Beech 58 Baron VH-SDL.  It appears to have originally arrived into Hamilton Island Airport from Gove (Nhulunbuy) via Townsville before Christmas and on Thursday, it departed Hamo for Townsville before returning to Hamilton Island Airport later in the day.

Finally, as mentioned below, on Wednesday 2 January, Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO visited Hamilton Island Airport, arriving from and later departing back to its Bankstown base.

UPDATE!  On Saturday 5 January, VH-WIO visited Hamilton Island Airport one more time, yet again arriving from and later departing back to Bankstown.
