As well as the political visitors, there were some other bizjet and corporate turboprop aircraft to also be noted visiting Central Queensland Airports also on Tuesday 22 January.

Perhaps the nicest was Kefford Corporation (of Victoria) Gulfstream IV-SP N7DK which touched down at Hamilton Island Airport from its Melbourne (Essendon) base via Sydney and the Gold Coast.  It appears to be staying for at least the night.

While out at Roma Airport, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR was noted arriving from Brisbane via the Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport.  It later departed to Brisbane and was heard to be using its registration as its radio callsign.

Finally, a couple of corporate turboprops to be noted visiting various CQ Airports also on Tuesday 22 January included Wagga Air Centre (Mabena) SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM which flew from Gladstone Airport to Bundaberg Airport.  It had arrived in the port city from its Wagga Wagga base on Sunday 20 January.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 23 January, VH-PVM continued its adventures in CQ, this time departing Bundaberg Airport for Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport and the Sunshine Coast.  It then returned to Bundy before heading 'home' to Wagga Wagga.

While Brisbane-based Bishopp Aviation SOCATA TBM-700 VH-VSV was noted visiting Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport also on Tuesday 22 January.  It arrived from and later departed back to its Archerfield base.
