The very familiar sight of Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC was back in CQ, this time visiting Emerald Airport for the day Wednesday 9 January.

VH-MMC arrived from and later departed back to its Sunshine Coast base.
Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 9 January, Hevilift Australia (Fixed Wing Division) ATR 72-500 VH-FVH was noted visiting Emerald Airport.
The ATR 72 was operating the usual weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight from Brisbane to Middlemount Aerodrome as HT771 but it was unable to land due to the very wet weather that was passing through the region.
VH-FVH later departed Emerald Airport and returned to Brisbane but as HT772.
Fellow Hevilift Australia ATR 72-500 VH-FVM operated into Middlemount Aerodrome from and back to Brisbane late on Tuesday 8 January also on a FIFO charter flight but as HT773/774.
Finally of interest, Australian Country Choice Properties (Brisbane) Beech B300 Super King Air VH-SQR was able to land at Middlemount Aerodrome on Wednesday 9 January, arriving from and later departing back to Archerfield.
Sincere thanks to the Sunshine Coast Plane Spotting Facebook page for allowing us to share their great photo of VH-MMC!
