Also noted visiting Gladstone Airport, also on Friday 26 April, was Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company Agusta A119 'Koala' VH-KOL. It arrived from the Gold Coast.

It is unclear if Clive Palmer - leader of the United Australia Political Party - came to Gladstone to join the hustings during this Federal election campaign.
After a couple of hours on the ground, VH-KOL then departed Gladstone Airport for the Gold Coast but diverted to the Sunshine Coast before eventually heading to the Gold Coast.

Finally, at the time of writing, it appears that Clive Palmer could possibly be (back) in CQ on Saturday 27 April with his private, Cayman Islands-registered, Hawker Beechcraft 4000 Horizon bizjet VP-CPP, due to pay a visit to Mackay Airport.
