Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLS Calls into CQ Airports

An interesting arrival into Gladstone Airport late on Thursday 11 April was Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B VH-ZLS which touched down from Brisbane on what looked to be a charter flight as RXA9310.

After staying for the night, VH-ZLS then departed Gladstone Airport and arrived into Mackay Airport as RXA9326 around lunchtime on Friday 12 April.

VH-ZLS eventually departed back Mackay Airport and returned to Brisbane as RXA9327.

This is the third charter flight by a REX SAAB 340 into CQ this week with a pair of flights noted visiting Emerald Airport earlier in the week - see Blog post below!

UPDATE!  VH-ZLS looked to complete another closed charter flight on Sunday 14 April.  It arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane as PFY9880 (a Pel-Air flight number and callsign).  VH-ZLS then departed to Julia Creek as PFY9282 before flying into Longreach Airport and back to Brisbane as PFY9879.
