Cessna Citation Bizjets VH-FNI & VH-WMY Call into Hamilton Island Airport

The good run of bizjets to call into Hamilton Island Airport continued on Sunday 22 December as a couple of local Cessna Citations called in.

Graham Aviation (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-FNI was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Ayers Rock.  It arrived in the 'Red Centre' on Saturday 21 December from its Mareeba base via Cairns.

After being on the ground briefly, VH-FNI departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Cairns.

Meanwhile, also noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport, also on Sunday 22 December, was Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY.

It arrived from Melbourne (Essendon) and later departed to Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Finally, also on Sunday 22 December, it is believed that Piper PA-31-350 VH-AUG visited Mackay Airport from its Cairns base.
