Qantas Airways Boeing B737-800 VH-VXQ Back in Standard Livery and Back in CQ at Mackay Airport - Plus More!

On Monday 16 December, Qantas Airways Boeing B737-800 VH-VXQ made its first visit into Central Queensland following the recent removal of its distinctive 'Retro Roo II' livery.  It visited Mackay Airport operating the QFA988/9 service from and back to Brisbane.

The 'Retro Roo II' livery was removed by the Flying Colours Aviation team at Townsville Airport over October and November.

VH-VXQ returned to service in mid-November in the standard 'silver roo' livery and was noted wearing the name 'Redland'.

Meanwhile, also on Monday 16 December, RDO Equipment Co. Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH landed at Biloela / Thangool Airport from Toowoomba and Archerfield and this afternoon departed to Emerald Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 17 December, VH-WPH departed Emerald Airport for Archerfield and then Toowoomba.

Rural Funds Management (A.C.T.) Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-STE flew up from Canberra and Orange to Rolleston Aerodrome and then Emerald Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 17 December, VH-STE departed Emerald Airport for Bundaberg Airport.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 18 December, VH-STE departed Bundaberg Airport for Orange and Canberra.

While Victorian-based but American-registered Embraer EMB-505 Phenom 300 N227SL visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from Archerfield

Brisbane-based Piper PA-31-350 VH-RPV arrived into Clermont Aerodrome from Archerfield and Dalby

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 17 December, VH-RPV departed Clermont Aerodrome for Wondai, Dalby and Archerfield.

And Link Airways (Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation) Cessna 441 Conquest VH-VEY flew up from Brisbane to the Oaky Creek Mine site and then across to Clermont Aerodrome before returning to Brisbane.
