Some Nice Bizjets at Central Queensland Airports This Week

Bizjets galore this week in Central Queensland after a quiet Easter Holiday period!!

On Tuesday 9 April a familiar pair of Cessna 525A citation CJ2 bizjets were noted at Mackay Airport. Mackay-based VH-ZGP arrived back from Brisbane, while Bond Air Charters VH-MOR popped in from Dunk Island and later departed for Archerfield - VH-MOR is pictured at Clermont Aerodrome late last year.

On Wednesday 11 April, a lovely pair of bizjets popped into the - as it seems - bizjet 'hub' of Hamilton Island. Dassault Falcon 2000EX M-SNER flew in from and later departed to the Gold Coast. Later Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express M-ATAR arrived from Townsville. On Thursday 12 April, it departed for the Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, out at Longreach, a pair of New Zealand registered Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjets - in the form of ZK-MOT and ZK-MUS - are believed to have arrived into Longreach on Wednesday before departing for Darwin on Thursday 12 April.

Lastly, Pionair (Australia) Dassault Falcon 50EX VH-FOL, spent some time on the ground at Gladstone on Wednesday 11 April. I later photographed VH-FOL arriving back in Brisbane.
