REMINDER!! Rockhampton Aero Club Open Day - Tomorrow - Saturday 8 December

The Rockhampton Aero Club is holding an open day next Saturday 8 December.

The Rockhampton Aero Club is located on the General Aviation side of Rockhampton Airport, with the Aero Club building situated on the General Aviation access road which is off Canoona Road

Tim Berry and Anthony Freer from Vintage Adventure Flights in Toowoomba are bringing their North American T-28A Trojan VH-VBT and North American AT-6A Texan VH-LNT to the open day.

These aircraft will be on public display in a designated area in front of the Aero Club.

It is also hoped that local Hawker Siddeley Aviation T.75A - Hawker Hunter - VH-XHH will also be on display.

Joyflights will be conducted on the day, and the day is also when the Club officially release the RFACA Flying Scholarships. So if you or someone you know is interested in learning to fly, please direct them to the club on that day for a Trial Instruction Flight.

The club is also trying to organise a sausage sizzle on the day as well.

For further information about the open day, flight training, charter flights and scenic tours, the Rockhampton Aero Club can be contacted on (07) 4922 4596 or 0427 224 596 or by visiting thier website at www.rockhamptonaeroclub.org.au

Pass the word around - it looks like it will be a great day out!!
