Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-UQN Calls into Rockhampton Airport Twice - Another Sports Charter!

On Sunday 20 March, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 jet VH-UQN was noted making a couple of visits to Rockhampton Airport on what appeared to be another closed sports team charter.

It arrived from and then later departed back to Townsville as UTY3381/2 before then doing the same flights after dark but as UTY3383/4.

Meanwhile, a couple of Piper PA-31 Navajo lighties noted around the region, also on Sunday 20 March, included Brisbane-based Great Western Aviation PA-31-350 VH-OMM which flew up from Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast to Longreach Airport, before it then continued to Mount Isa and Darwin.

And ZephAir Australia - Aircraft Charters Piper PA-31 Navajo VH-AYT flew into Hamilton Island Airport from Townsville and Cairns before it then returned to its Townsville base.
