Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X Bizjet A56-003 "Envoy 72/71" Overnight Visit to Bundaberg (and Rockhampton) Airport

Late on Sunday 6 March, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Dassault Falcon 7X bizjet A56-003 was noted flying up from Canberra to Bundaberg Airport as "Envoy 72".  But with storms in the area, and after sometime holding West of Bundaberg, it diverted to land up at Rockhampton Airport.

After a short time on the ground, the Falcon 7X bizjet, which is flown by the RAAF's VIP 34 Squadron, took off from Rockhampton Airport and eventually made it to Bundaberg Airport where it was still rainy and stormy. It also changed its radio callsign to "Envoy 71".

A little later, A56-003 still as "Envoy 71", then departed Bundaberg Airport for an overnight flight to Darwin.
