Tex Onsite (Tex Assets P/L) Aero Commander 500-U VH-TXE Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 15 March, Tex Onsite (Tex Assets P/L) Aero Commander 500-U VH-TXE was noted finally taking to the air out of Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to complete a local flight, including several touch-and-go circuits, before it then flew out towards the Capricorn Coast.

VH-TXE then landed back at Rockhampton Airport.

VH-TXE originally arrived into Rockhampton Airport in November 2021 before then being moved and parked up last month.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 15 March, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQI completed a flight from Rockhampton Airport to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site and back as SKP773/4 before then flying back to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) and Cairns Airports as SKP86.  It had arrived from Cairns and Prosie on Monday 14 March, and also operated a flight to Labona and back to Rocky.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 March, VH-QQI was back in town, flying down to Rockhampton Airport from Cairns and Proserpine Airports  It then flew to Labona and back to Rocky before it then headed back to Proserpine and Cairns.

While also on Tuesday, fellow Dash-8-100 VH-QQF flew directly down to Rockhampton Airport from Cairns (no stop at Proserpine) before it then completed a flight to Labona and back to Rocky.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 16 March, VH-QQF departed Rockhampton Airport for Mackay Airport before it then completed three flights between there and Labona.
