Another Australian Army MRH-90 Helicopter A40-023 Passes Through Rockhampton Airport as "Destrier 121"

On Wednesday 6 April, Australian Army NH Industries MRH-90 Multi-Role Helicopter A40-023 was noted calling into to Rockhampton Airport after flying up from the Oakey Army Aviation Centre as "Destrier 121".

After taking on fuel, A40-023 departed Rockhampton Airport for Townsville.

It appears that A40-023 is the fourth MRH-90 which is heading home to Townsville following a deployment to South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales where they provided assistance during recent major flooding events.

As posted below, three MRH-90s passed through Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 5 April, also heading from Oakey to Townsville.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 6 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004 was back in CQ, this time noted completing a missed approach at Bundaberg Airport.

It was flying as "Wedgetail 13" and flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown via a missed approach at the Gold Coast before then returning to Williamtown after its airwork at Bundy.
