Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY at a Couple of CQ Airports - Plus More!

On Wednesday 13 April, Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY was noted visiting a couple of Central Queensland Airports while on a busy day of flying.

VH-ZSY firstly, departed its Sunshine Coast base for the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site, before then flying across to Rockhampton Airport.  It then returned to the Sunshine Coast.

VH-ZSY then departed up to Charters Towers Aerodrome where it appears to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 14 April, VH-ZSY departed Charters Towers Aerodrome and returned to the Sunshine Coast.

Fellow Machjet (Machjet International) Beech B200 King Air VH-PUY was noted departing Gladstone Airport also for the Sunshine Coast after arriving from there via Brisbane the previous day.

While also visiting the Labona Station Airstrip was Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN flew up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp via Archerfield before then later returning to those places.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ was noted at Rockhampton Airport once again, this time arriving from Cairns and then departing to Brisbane.

And Armidale Fire and Safety Piper PA-31-350 VH-ASD popped into Emerald Airport while flying up from Armidale to Cairns.

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 13 April, and slightly larger in size, Pionair Australia British Aerospace BAe 146-200QC VH-SAZ visited Mackay Airport, arriving from and later departing back to Brisbane as SFZ667/8.

While Pratt Aviation Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express bizjet VH-VGX was noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport once again.  It arrived from and later departed back to its Melbourne (Essendon) base.  VH-VGX did the same on Sunday 10 April - see Blog post below!

AirMed Australia Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQY arrived into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from Bankstown before then departing to Moree, Tamworth, Orange and back to Bankstown.  It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "AirMed 911".

And in the wee small hours, Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ looked to visit both Emerald and then Gladstone Airports while on a flight out of and back to Brisbane.

Finally, also on Wednesday 13 April, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TQI was noted flying up from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport to Middlemount Aerodrome.  It then flew down to Biloela / Thangool, Maryborough and then Hervey Bay Airports.

Of interest, fellow Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TQW was noted heading to Birdsville Airport recently where it has joined the Birdsville Aviation fleet and will operate tourist and other general charter flights alongside their existing Cessna 208 Caravan VH-VCW - as pictured below.

And Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQI was noted flying down from Townsville to Mackay Airport as SKP788.  Fellow Skytrans Dash-8-100 VH-QQC flew out of Rockhampton Airport to Labona as SKP779 before then flying up to Mackay Airport as SKP792.  Then, both VH-QQI and VH-QQC flew out of Mackay Airport together to Labona and then back to Mackay Airport.

VH-QQI then departed Mackay Airport for Cairns as SKP782 and VH-QQC flew to Labona and back to Mackay Airport again.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 14 April, Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQC flew from Mackay Airport to Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport as SKP786 before then continuing to Cairns as SKP86.
