On Monday 4 April, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-004 was noted completing a missed approach at Hamilton Island Airport.
It was flying as "Mitchell 22" and came up direct from RAAF Base Williamtown to Hamo. After the airwork at Hamilton Island Airport, A30-004 flew all the way back down to Williamtown.
