On Saturday 27 August, and for the second time this month, Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules NZ7002 was noted flying down to Longreach Airport from Townsnville.  It then proceeded to complete a touch-and-go approach at Longreach Airport.

NZ7002 then flew into Cairns.

NZ7002 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Kiwi 563".

Of interest, NZ7002 "Kiwi 563" flew up from RNZAF Base Auckland at Whenuapai to Nadi (Fiji) and Bonriki (Kiribati) and then Townsville over the last couple of days.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 28 August, NZ7002 "Kiwi 563" departed Cairns and looked to return to Whenuapai.
